Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information Blue Bird Cabs Malta collects when you contact us or book a journey, why we hold it, and what rights you have over it.

Note for the site owner: this page is a working template written to match the site's structure. Please have it reviewed against your actual data-handling practices and current Maltese and EU (GDPR) obligations before publishing, and fill in the bracketed details below.

Who we are

Blue Bird Cabs Malta ("we", "us") operates cab, minibus and coach services in Malta and Gozo. For questions about this policy or about the information we hold on you, contact us at [email protected] or on +356 2157 1700. Our registered address is [insert registered address].

What we collect

We only collect what we need in order to plan and carry out your journey:

  • Your name, email address and telephone number.
  • Journey details: pick-up and drop-off addresses, dates and times, passenger and luggage numbers, and any flight or ship reference you give us.
  • Any additional requirements you tell us about, such as child seat ages or mobility needs.
  • Correspondence between you and us, including booking confirmations and amendments.
  • Where you pay by card or online, payment is handled by our payment provider; we do not store your full card details.

Why we hold it

We use your information to quote for and carry out the transport you have asked for, to contact you about a booking, to issue invoices and receipts, and to keep the records we are required to keep for tax and insurance purposes. Where we send you an offer or a newsletter, we do so only if you have asked us to, and every message includes a way to stop.

Who we share it with

Your details are shared with the driver assigned to your journey, and — where relevant — with a partner operator, hotel, event organiser or travel agent involved in your booking. We do not sell your data, and we do not pass it to third parties for their own marketing.

How long we keep it

Booking and correspondence records are kept for as long as we need them to run the service and to meet our legal, accounting and insurance obligations, and are then deleted. [Insert your retention period.]

Cookies and this website

This website uses fonts served by Google Fonts, which means your browser makes a request to Google's servers when a page loads. Other than that, the site sets no tracking or advertising cookies of its own. [Update this section if you later add analytics, a chat widget, an embedded map or an online payment step.]

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, ask us to delete it where we are not required to keep it, object to how we are using it, or ask us to restrict that use. Write to [email protected] and we will respond within one month.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may complain to the Office of the Information and Data Protection Commissioner in Malta.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational steps to protect the information you give us, and we limit access to it to the people who need it to do their job.

Changes to this policy

If we change how we handle personal data, we will update this page. This version was last reviewed on [insert date].
